About Us

Howdy! My name is Jakayly Wilcox and I am the founder of Backwards BW. We are a small family operated homestead currently located in New Mexico on a very rural ranch camp. I have been exclusively homesteading for almost 4 years now and in that time I have learned so many traditional skills of which have become such a vital part of our every day life and survival. I am the wife of a working ranch cowboy and the mother of 2 beautiful baby girls. I grew up always involved in ranching and agriculture and it’s no surprise that animal husbandry has become such a huge part of the rest of my life. As I step into this next season and venture along this new journey I am very excited to see how much Backwards BW grows and blossoms in the coming years. I am very passionate and dedicated to handcrafting high quality products made from only the purest, most wholesome ingredients that you can always trust. Most of our ingredients are sourced from right here on our homestead. From the production of various ingredients to formulating and creating each specific product and designing labels for packaging-So much love and care goes into what we do, and our goal is to always reflect that in our products.
